Although I don't buy kit models very often because they tend to be expensive for the limited amount of entertainment they provide, I have been building them since I was eight or nine and still complete one every once in a while. They are particularly nice because they tend to be very forgiving of my frequent mistakes.

I have built many metal miniatures from line of models called Metal Earth. They are usually very detailed, accurate, cheap and fun to build.

I like to do art (hands on, non digital) in most medias and have been drawing (with the help of my mother) since I was four. I have most recently been experimenting with oil paint, pencil, and crayons.

I have been building model cars and planes almost as long as I can remember. The only drawback that I have found frequently with these projects is that boxed kit models tend to be quite expensive and they don't often fit into my budget. Paper modeling is my solution to this.

An addiction I had for many years and had to eventually quit, I still love Rubik's cubes and their kin. They always provide my mind with new ways to look at things and also helped stretch my logic in many ways that helped with my eventual understanding of the basics of the origami design process.
