I have, unfortunately, been ignoring my website for the past few months. I have had overwhelmingly massive quantities of schoolwork and a busy, full life. More recently, I have taken the time to finish updating the site, add my latest projects and cringe at the fact that I have been making blog posts every six months instead of every week.........oh well.
I have still been doing many projects though and hope to more diligent in regards to my blog (we'll see).
I have not folded my mosquito as I promised and instead got distracted building a model DeHavilland DH.88 Comet 1/72 scale plastic model after my sister found it cleaning and insisted I build it (I have no idea how that model got away from the rest of my stash). I have also built two new 1/72 scale WWI paper aircraft models. However, my family (including myself) is leaving for a six week trip to Baja tomorrow, so I won't have time to properly update the website until we get back. I also won't make blog posts on the website during the trip. I will send subscribers a notification when I get back.
I am still working on my latest mosquito. I have had a new bedroom to move into, school, and lots of out-of-house activities that have kept me quite busy with non origami things. However, I finally finished drawing the CP (which took way more time, tedium and math than I ever expected but turned out fine) and am working on making a sheet of paper to fold a test subject. If all goes well, I will follow up the process with some Origamido paper!
I have renamed my site "Panorama Studio," redone all headers accordingly, fixed some minor errors, and added a new description of my website on the homepage.
I recently got a bunch of new paper from Hiromi Paper store for Christmas. It includes Lokta, Unryu, Gampi and some other types that sounded like good folding candidates. I can't wait to start folding! :)
I am currently working on designing a mosquito. I have made about 5 CP's and folded two of them. I am currently working on a box-pleated version with circle packed edges on the legs to make the design more paper efficient. This is my second hybridized design like this and it has been interesting for me to figure it all out.
For me the purpose of this blog will be to keep anyone visiting or following my website updated on my activities.
